A Highly Personalized Sport Yacht Hits The Water In Kaohsiung
Horizon Yachts has officially unveiled its latest masterpiece, the custom superyacht Kephi, during their Open House event in Kaohsiung. Measuring 27.3 meters in length, this striking addition to the shipyard’s fleet represents a highly personalized vision brought to life for a loyal Australian client who has previously owned six vessels from the renowned Taiwanese builder. The launch marks a significant milestone for the yard, showcasing their ability to adapt and evolve existing platforms to meet the exacting demands of experienced yachtsmen.

The conceptualization of Kephi prompted Horizon Yachts to fundamentally reimagine its established E Series. The objective was to craft a profile that is notably sportier and perfectly attuned to the owner’s passion as an elite angler. To achieve this dynamic aesthetic, the shipyard collaborated with the acclaimed Amsterdam-based studio Cor D. Rover Design, which succeeded in giving the yacht an elegant yet purposeful exterior profile that stands out on the water.

Beyond her sleek lines, the exterior spaces are packed with functional innovations tailored to outdoor living and competitive fishing. The aft deck incorporates a specialized live-bait well, complementing a versatile tender garage fitted with custom rod holders and a convenient hydraulic swim platform. Moving forward, the bow area invites relaxation with its adaptable folding sunpads, creating an ideal setting for enjoying the maritime environment when the fishing gear is stowed away.
The shaded cockpit, protected by an electric retractable awning, serves as an exceptional venue for al fresco dining and entertaining. This space is lavishly equipped with a teppanyaki grill, a barbecue, and an ice maker, ensuring guests are well catered to during extended voyages. Inside, the fully air-conditioned main saloon houses a comprehensive galley and an exquisite marble dining table, providing a luxurious sanctuary after a long day on the water.

Accommodation on board is designed to host guests in utmost comfort, featuring a versatile four-cabin layout on the lower deck. The full-beam master suite, located amidships, includes a private en-suite bathroom and a large television setup that effortlessly transforms the space into a cozy home cinema. Accompanying the master is a forward VIP suite and two additional guest cabins that offer flexible twin or double bed configurations to suit any charter or family arrangement.

Derived from a Greek term denoting a profound sense of well-being even amidst exhaustion, the name Kephi beautifully captures the essence of the yachting lifestyle the owner envisions. Powered by robust twin MAN engines generating immense horsepower, the yacht is poised to reveal her full performance capabilities following her upcoming sea trials. With final outfitting underway, the spectacular new vessel is scheduled for delivery in the coming weeks.
