Sirena 42M Flagship Reaches Major Build Milestone
Sirena Yachts has reported a significant construction milestone for its 42-metre flagship, with the hull and superstructure nearing completion and interior joinery and outfitting progressing in parallel. Construction began in 2023, and the vessel — described by the yard as a “waterborne dream home” — remains on track for launch and sea trials in mid-2026.

This milestone is a clear indicator that the project has moved from primary structural work into the fit-out phase, where systems installation and interior completion become the focus. Maintaining schedule at this stage is important for delivery planning, verification by class, and coordination of final sea trials and handover activities.

Vallebona and Hot Lab Define Exterior and Interiors
Luca Vallebona was appointed to define the exterior lines and general layout of the Sirena 42M, while Italian design studio Hot Lab is responsible for the interior architecture and styling. Vallebona’s approach emphasizes expansive visual and physical connections between interior and exterior spaces, including solutions that allow guests to step directly outside from normally enclosed areas.

Hot Lab describes the interior language as Nordic-meets-Mediterranean, using curves, large fillets and abundant planting to create a relaxed, organic ambience. Materials include natural beech and oak alongside textile choices such as cotton and chenille for sofas; the resulting palette is light and desaturated to maximise the effect of natural light while keeping detailing measured and purposeful.

Accommodation, Amenities and 2026 Launch Timeline
The yacht’s accommodation concept places principal cabins on the lower deck, with four guest cabins and two VIP cabins featuring transverse beds. The layout is configurable, but the suggested arrangement situates the owner’s suite at the bow to provide direct access to a private forward patio; the master cabin is also fitted with a Jacuzzi.

Exterior and deck arrangements emphasise social and water-facing spaces: renderings show an al fresco dining area on the sundeck, casual seating on the main deck with unobstructed stern views, and an aft deck with a fixed pool, sunpads, loungers and fold-out bulwarks. The design also includes substantial storage for tenders and water toys to meet increased demand for water-sports facilities. The project was first presented at the 2022 Monaco Yacht Show and is listed for sale through Ocean Independence at €23,950,000.

Project Status, Market Position and Next Steps
Because of the build’s complexity, Sirena Yachts has engaged an external surveyor in addition to the Class Society to monitor progress and control quality. CEO Çağın Genç reports the programme is on schedule and that the yard is achieving a high standard of finish as it progresses through outfitting and system commissioning.

The Sirena 42M forms the centrepiece of a new range that also includes 35 and 50-metre models, and Sirena Yachts currently has additional projects underway, notably the Sirena 88 and Sirena 118. Over the next 12–18 months the focus will shift to final fit-out, systems testing, sea trials and certification ahead of delivery in mid-2026.
