The Smithsunian is a 1989 49′ DeFever Cockpit Motor Yacht. The 49 models are the 44 foot models with an infinitely usable 5 foot cockpit added at the factory. 

The Smithsunian offers extremely efficient twin Ford Lehman 135 HP naturally aspirated main engines and is stabilized with Naiad Stabilizers. 

Other features include a walk-in engine room, a Westerbeke 8 kW generator, a Magnum 2,800-watt inverter, an oil change system, a spacious sundeck and flybridge, a full-beam master stateroom, and a large full-length settee on the port side in the salon.
