“Southerly” is a stunning classic, a true “Head Turner”. The owners decided to take her temporarily off the market and spend the time and expense to make sure she was in “Sail Away” condition for the next owners. Here are some of the things they have done in the last 6 months;

1) After Coolers have been completely replaced. Something Caterpillar recommends every 6 years. This was done by a Caterpillar certified company “Shore Power”. This was done in Dec. 2024

2) Heat exchangers were removed and cleaned and re-installed at the same time the After Coolers were done and by the same company. Again in Dec. 2024

3) Vessel was hauled out and props removed and sent to “Black Dog Propellers” to be re-conditioned. June 2025

4) Bottom cleaned and fresh bottom paint June 2025

5) All the exterior teak was stripped and re-varnished June 2025

6) Exterior cabin and hull all cleaned and waxed June 22nd, 2025

7) All the Teak in the cockpit has been cleaned and refreshed as seen in the photos of the before and after – June 2025

She has just been launched the last week of June, 2025. She will reside at the Safe Harbor Zahniser yard and will be sitting right in front of the Restaurant. The owners have agreed to list her aggressively with an asking price of $595,000.00. Southerly is an “SX” model, meaning she has the enclosed salon. These boats all sell anywhere from $625,000 and up. The “HX” which is more of an open express style, do not warrant the asking price that the “SX” does.
